Beach Wedding Signs to Buy or DIY

If you’re on a tight budget, it’s ok to skip the signs. But if you can swing the expense, beach wedding signs are a nice way to welcome your guests, and reassure them that they’re in the right place. Your signs can also help them find their way and understand any special instructions for your guest book, favors or signature drinks.

Beach Wedding Signage For Your Ceremony

Before deciding how many signs you need, imagine walking through your wedding venue. Once you’ve parked the car, how far is it to the ceremony site? Will you need directions?

Think about each element of your wedding ceremony and reception and decide which parts you’ll need signs for.

Directional Signs

If it’s not easy to find the ceremony site, you can set up directional signs for your guests to help them find their way.

Beach Wedding Welcome Sign

Having a sign at the entrance to your wedding will let your guests know they’re in the right place. You can personalize a welcome sign with your names and your wedding theme. This is a great way to start bringing your beach wedding colors into your decor.

Shoe Valet With Flip Flops

For weddings on the beach, lots of couples like to provide flip flops for their guests. If you want to set up a flip flop station, or a shoe valet, you can buy cheap flip flops in your wedding colors. Set them out in a basket. Add a cute sign so that your guests know what to do.

Beach Wedding Signs For Your Reception

If your wedding reception is at the beach, too, think about how the guests will get there from the ceremony. Will they need more directional signs, or is the reception easy to spot?

Welcome To Our Wedding Sign

If you didn’t have a space for a welcome sign at your ceremony, you can add one at the entrance to your wedding reception. You can order ready made signs, or templates to personalize and print on your own.

Please Sign Our Guest Book

If you’re setting up a guest book, add a sign to remind your guests. If you’re having an alternative guest book, they might need to sign a special item, like a cork or a seashell. Some guest book tables include a camera, for people to take a picture. Add a sign, to make sure everyone knows what to do.

You can even find signs that are designed to be the guest book. Most are wood, or another sturdy material. Your guests can sign it as they arrive. Then after the wedding you can use it as home decor.

Seating Chart For a Beach Wedding

Creating a seating chart is a great way to include your beach theme in your reception decor. The sign can be placed on an easel or a table, depending on the space at your venue.

Beach Wedding Theme Table Numbers

Most seating chart templates come with matching table number signs. Including these on each table can be a pretty addition to your centerpieces. Or you can choose pretty wooden numbers with seashells or palm leaves as extra decor.

One way to bring your beach wedding colors into your decor is by choosing signature drinks for your reception. You can offer cocktails in nearly any color of the rainbow. If you decide to offer signature drinks at your wedding, put some signs out at the bar to let your guests know.
