Planning a wedding should be easy. I mean, it’s just a big party, right? A big party where you happen to get married. Ok - so it’s kind of a big deal! You need to figure out a venue, food, music. Then there’s vendors, decorations and clothes. If you’re not hiring a planner, you’ll need to figure it all out on your own.

When your wedding’s in a traditional venue your guests already know what to expect. They’ll open your invitation and say something like “Oh, it’s at the Riverside Club”.

They’ve probably been there before. So they know what to wear and they know what the food’ll be like.

When you’re having your wedding at a non-traditional venue, your guests won’t get the same clues.
