Best Unique Venue: The Music Box Village

If you’re looking for a fun and eclectic wedding venue, check out The Music Box Village. Over 60 artists worked to build a village of musical houses. The venue offers an industrial style indoor option. Or an outdoor space with interactive art installations for your guests to explore and play. 

They can arrange extra rentals like tents and audio packages for you. They also offer some fantastic options for the ultimate New Orleans wedding. They’ll help you arrange anything from circus performers to tarot card readers to create a reception to remember.

Rental fees start at $5,000 for a Friday or Sunday wedding and $6,000 for a Saturday with a 150 person minimum. You can select one of their bar packages plus a preferred vendor. If you’d rather choose your own caterer, you can pay an extra surcharge of $3 per person.

Best Outdoor Venue: Grow Dat Youth Farm

For a fabulous outdoor wedding, the Grow Dat Youth Farm offers an eco campus or a Big Oak space. Imagine getting married beneath a centuries old oak tree. The venue also offers a shaded area near the oak for ceremony seating and reception space. Saturday and Sunday rental fees start at $250 per hour and includes access to a kitchen, bathrooms and external power sources.

Most Romantic Venue: Audubon Nature Institute

The Audubon Nature Institute offers a variety of venues for every style of wedding. For an outdoor ceremony, you could get married in a grove of hundred year oak trees. Then enjoy your reception in the nearby Audubon Clubhouse Cafe.

Best Rustic Venue: The NOCCA Foundation Event 

If you’re planning a rustic wedding, the NOCCA Foundation offers 3 venues in the heart of New Orleans historic Faubourg neighborhood. The Press Street Station is a renovated warehouse space with a cool rustic vibe and dinner seating for 98 people. 5 Press Gallery is an attached art space that can accommodate 36 people for a seated dinner, or 90 people for a cocktail style wedding. For a rustic garden wedding, they also offer a half acre urban farm called The Press Street Gardens where you can host your ceremony or reception.

Rental fees range from $1,000 to $4,500 depending on the space you book and include 3 hours of event time plus 1 hour for set up and 1 hour for break down. Extra hours can be added for a fee. The rental includes use of the kitchen, plus tables, chairs and some outdoor furniture.

Best All Inclusive Venue: The Moore

Don’t want to do all the planning yourself? The Moore is a bright and modern venue that offers all inclusive pricing. They’ll provide everything you need for the perfect wedding. The packages include cocktails, food stations and a full bar. Plus a wedding cake and a groom’s cake. Even the DJ, the lighting and the decorations are included. And if you want to personalize it, they offer tons of fun add ons, like a photo booth or a french fry bar.

For a Saturday wedding in the high season, there’s a minimum of 150 guests and the prices start at $97 per person. Booking a Sunday or off season wedding offers lower minimums and prices that start as low as $76 per person.
