The Art Room

The Art Room is a modern industrial space with a rustic feel. It’s located in the historic Strip District of Pittsburgh. The venue has lots of natural light and fully functioning garage doors.

With a main floor plus 2 loft areas, The Art Room can fit up to 150 guests. For smaller weddings, some couples use one floor for the ceremony and one for the reception. The rental fee includes tables, chairs and linens and they can be set up for any size wedding.

The Clement

The Clement is actually just outside of Pittsburgh. But it’s such a cool venue that it could be worth the 25 minute drive. It’s a renovated church with space for up to 150 guests.

The main floor is perfect for a small wedding reception. And if you need space for your ceremony, there’s a small balcony that would be the perfect spot. 

They don’t have in house catering or required vendors, so you’re free to choose your own. This is ideal if you’re on a budget. You can shop around for the best prices on your food and alcohol.

The Pump House at Rivers of Steel

Rivers of Steel is actually a huge venue, but there’s lots of smaller spaces that can be rented for a more intimate wedding. The Pump House is a historical building right on the waterfront.

Blueberry Hill Park Activity Center

For another affordable small wedding venue, check out the Blueberry Hill Park Activity Center. It’s a community center hall with a clean, open feel. The rental includes tables and chairs, plus a full commercial kitchen. With only $650 rental fee, this is a great spot for a wedding on a budget. 

Best Wedding Venues For Under 50 Guests

Bar Marco

Bar Marco is a Pittsburgh restaurant with a private event space upstairs. With a maximum of 65 people, the venue is the perfect spot for a smaller wedding reception. The space can be arranged for lots of different styles. Whether it’s a sit down dinner or a cocktail party, this is a great spot to hold a wedding.

The Riverfront Room on the Allegheny

The Riverfront Room on the Allegheny from Tree Pittsburgh is a sustainable venue with a view of the Allegheny River. They have a variety of spaces that are perfect for small weddings. You can offer cocktails or seated meals in different areas of the venue. If you’re looking for an outdoor wedding, the venue even offers a tree lined courtyard where you can set up a ceremony or reception.

Rental fee for a wedding is $4,000 and includes 10 hours of rental time, plus rehearsal time the day before. 

Station House 7

Station House 7 is a historic venue with an elegant industrial style. The rental includes stylish tables, Chiavari chairs and lounge seating. Plus, they’ll even let you use their decorations. They have lots of decor that you can use for your wedding. You can borrow everything from centerpieces and table runners to cookie trays and card boxes.

With 2 separate areas inside, you can design your wedding to include a ceremony, a cocktail hour or a reception space. The event space offers recommendations for catering, but you’re allowed to choose your own. If you want to DIY your wedding meal, they will allow outside or potluck food. And if you’re going to save money with DIY alcohol, the $2,500 rental fee includes a certified and insured bartender.

Robin Hill Center 

Robin Hill Park is a 25 minute drive from Pittsburgh, but it’s a great option if you’re looking for an outdoor ceremony. The park has an outdoor gazebo that can be rented along with the historical mansion. The mansion seats a maximum of 75 guests. With rental fees that start as low as $550 the Robin Hill Center is a great choice for a small and affordable wedding.

Best Venues For a Micro Wedding Under 20 Guests

Point Breezeway

Point Breezeway is an event space inside the Inneffable Ca Phe. They offer complete packages for small weddings.
