Duck Brand Stuck at Prom Contest 2026 - Win a $10,000 Scholarship
This creative scholarship contest challenges students to design and wear an original prom outfit made from Duck Brand duct tape or crafting tape. Two first-place winners, one in the Dress category and one in the Tux category, will each receive a $10,000 cash scholarship. Additional runner-up, special category, and patriotic-themed prizes are also available, making this one of the most unique student contests of the year.
Who can enter
Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada.
Void in Maryland, Colorado, Vermont, Nebraska, North Dakota, and the Province of Quebec.
Entrants must be at least 14 years old at time of entry.
Limit, one entry per person.

How to enter
To enter, participants must create an original prom outfit using Duck Brand duct tape or crafting tape. The outfit must be either a full dress or a complete tuxedo with accessories. Entries are submitted online and must include:
One to five photos wearing the outfit
Personal and contact information
A written description or video explaining the design
A photographer release form, if professional photos are used
The outfit must be original, must not have won a previous contest, and cannot copy someone else’s design without permission. Friends and family may help, but professional assistance is not allowed. If the entrant is under 18, a parent or guardian must approve the submission.
How judging works
Entries in both the Dress and Tux categories are judged on:
Workmanship
Originality
Use of colors
Accessories
Use of Duck Brand duct tape
Each category is weighted evenly, and the five highest-scoring entries in each category move on to community voting.
Community voting
Finalists are posted on the voting site, where registered voters may vote once per category, per email address, per day during the voting window. At the end of voting, the top-voted finalist in each category wins first place.
