If you know a union worker who goes above and beyond—at work, in the community, or at home—this is your moment to shine a spotlight on them. The 2025 Unions Power America Hometown Heroes Contest is back, honoring everyday heroes with more than $150,000 in cash and travel prizes. One standout nominee will take home $40,000 plus an unforgettable luxury trip, while dozens of others will be recognized for their dedication and service.

Who Can Enter
Open to legal U.S. residents (50 states + DC) who are 18 or older. Nominees must be union members. Only one entry is allowed per person.

Entry Frequency
Single entry per person. Multiple entries featuring different nominees are allowed.
Prizes
Grand Prize (1 winner): $40,000 cash plus a $15,000 Collette travel voucher
First Prizes (2 winners): $20,000 cash plus a 5-night luxury Hilton Hawaii vacation (ARV $3,000 each)
Second Prizes (2 winners): $10,000 cash each
Third Prizes (25 winners): $2,000 cash each
Total ARV: $171,000+

Each entry is judged on content (50%), creativity (30%), and clarity (20%).
